Chaos → clarity

Type or text anything.
It comes back as a postcard.

A thought arrives at the worst possible moment — mid-setup, mid-drive, halfway through a call. Send it here in whatever words you have. It comes back knowing what you meant, what to do next, and whose problem it is.

What you meant

Ceremony arch is unfinished and blocks the 4pm reveal. Jennifer holds the linen order, which the same delivery covers.

Do these next
  1. Confirm florals are on the 2pm van 10 min
  2. Text Jennifer for the linen count blocked on her
  3. Assign arch build to setup crew —

How it works

1

Say it badly

Type it in, or text the number. No categories, no fields, no tidying up first. Five words is plenty.

2

It goes and looks

Your mailbox and your files are searched for whatever you just mentioned, so the reply knows the booking, the name, the date.

3

A postcard comes back

What you meant, two or three concrete next moves, and where it belongs — company, department, how urgent, what else it touches.

4

It stays findable

Every card is searchable and filterable, can be handed to someone else, and remembers what you already decided.

Your sources are context, never capture

This is the part worth being precise about. Connecting your mail or your files does not let them create anything. Nothing in your inbox turns itself into a task here. Your mail is read only after you have said something, purely to work out what you meant, and it is read only — nothing is ever written back, moved, or replied to.

That is enforced in the database, not just intended: a thought can only be written by you typing or you texting. It is what stops this becoming another inbox to keep up with.
